N.C. observers of ICE agents are taking a look at their training to stay safe

RALEIGH, N.C. — Protests around the nation unfolded after an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent shot and killed a woman last week in Minneapolis. Renee Good was watching as ICE agents conducted operations.

Two North Carolinians with ties to that area also spend their time watching ICE operations in this state. They say it is important to keep an eye on how the federal government is conducting its immigration enforcement operations.

“I think that there’s a unique sense of grief when you watch a city that you loved and streets that you have walked face this kind of tragedy,” Katherine Spicuzza of immigrant advocacy group Siembra N.C. said…
