U.S. wireless carrier Verizon appears to be experiencing an outage, according to Down Detector, including in Rhode Island.
As of 12:49 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 175,399 users had reported difficulties via the Down Detector website.
Many Verizon users also took to social media platforms, such as X, to say their phone service was completely down. Users are reporting phones saying ”SOS,” “no service,” or “emergency calls only.”…
