FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – Virginia State Police have confirmed a Martinsville doctor was killed in a crash Monday night in Franklin County.
Dr. Diane Rowell died in a hospital after being one of two drivers involved in the crash January 12, 2026 on Route 122/Booker T. Washington Highway, near the intersection with Route 116/Jubal Early Highway. The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt, according to police.
