CRANSTON, RI — Police have identified a pedestrian who was fatally struck by a motor vehicle on Jan. 11, 2026.
The Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Vaune Vacarro, 56, of Utica, New York.
Family members reported they had not seen or heard from Vacarro in several years and described her as homeless and transient, with previous residences in multiple states…
