TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A rideshare driver is facing sexual battery charges after allegedly assaulting a woman he picked up at a bar, according to arrest papers.
Documents show the victim reported the assault on Jan. 10 at a hospital. She told officers she believed she had been assaulted by her Lyft driver the night before.
According to arrest papers, the victim told Tallahassee police officers she had been at a local bar when she requested a Lyft. She remembered getting into the Lyft and texting a friend to say she was on the way home. She told officers that the driver offered her a water bottle and, after drinking it, she “lost all her memory.”…
