Holden targeted? AG threatens action against towns not complying with MBTA Act

Attorney General Andrea Campbell said Tuesday, Jan. 13, she would take unspecified action by month’s end against towns that, like Holden, have not complied with the state’s MBTA Communities Act.

Campbell, answering a listener question live on WGBH’s “Boston Public Radio” program, said she would take “action as appropriate” by the end of January, the date she had set last year for compliance.

Campbell did not say what the action would be, stating, “Just stay tuned – we’re evaluating those options.”…
