Extradition case against Husker wrestler AJ Ferrari dismissed

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – After being booked in the Lancaster County Jail over an outstanding warrant from Texas last week and making his first appearance in court Monday, the case for University of Nebraska-Lincoln wrestler A.J. Ferrari has been dismissed without prejudice.

Ferrari was previously wanted in his home state of Texas for allegedly using a motor vehicle to evade arrest back in October before fleeing to Nebraska.

That warrant for his arrest was discovered by a Nebraska State Patrol trooper after he pulled Ferrari over for speeding on I-80 near Waverly on Friday night just hours after the wrestling team defeated Purdue in a dual in Lincoln…
