Youngsville Police Department Conducts Traffic Stop Resulting in Drug Arrests

Youngsville, LA (January 14, 2026) – On January 14, 2026, around 02:20 a.m., officers with the Youngsville Police Department, while conducting routine patrol, initiated a traffic stop for traffic infractions.

During the course of the stop, officers conducted a search of the vehicle. As a result of the search, officers discovered over one ounce of suspected crystal methamphetamine with a total weight of 30.9 grams, approximately 50.4 grams of marijuana, THC vape pens, THC wax, and drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, two subjects were arrested:

  • Chase Milliman of Youngsville was booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center (LPCC) on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I narcotic, Possession of a Schedule II narcotic, and traffic violations.
  • Toby Thibodeaux of Youngsville was booked into LPCC on a charge of Possession of a Schedule II narcotic.
