Dozens of families across the Lafayette area received warm red beans and rice meals on Tuesday thanks to a volunteer effort tied to a statewide hunger-relief campaign honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Employees with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Healthy Blue, and Entergy spent the day packing meal boxes at the MLK Recreation Center.
