Despite the recent closure of an Aldi on Milwaukee’s north side, the supermarket chain is looking to expand its footprint in Wisconsin in 2026.
Aldi will be opening 180 new stores across the country in 2026, aiming to reach store count of nearly 2,800 by the end of the year, the company announced Jan. 12. The new stores will span 31 states, including Wisconsin, USA TODAY reported.
