Douglas County Sheriff makes 3 gun arrests, warns of emerging K-Fam gang

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – The Douglas County Sheriff announced three arrests for gun-related crimes and warned residents of an emerging gang in the metro.

Early Saturday morning, deputies arrested Kapaw Htoo, 30, Kyaw Pwa, 22, and a 17-year-old boy after a traffic stop near 99th and Blair High Road.

They allegedly had multiple, unlawful guns, including a handgun that was reported stolen out of Omaha. Authorities also found a spent shell casing, black ski masks and black gloves.

Also, a pistol with the serial numbers removed, and a polymer-style “ghost gun” capable of firing like a fully automatic weapon.

K-Fam gang warning

The teenager who was arrested is a suspected member of the “K-Fam” gang.
