STELLA, Mo. — A rare sight in the Ozarks is capturing the attention of birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts across the state.
Betty Daniel and her husband, Ron, recently tracked down and photographed a leucistic bald eagle in Stella, about an hour and a half southwest of Springfield in Newton County.
