DC man gets 10-year sentence for abduction and attempted rape on Metro train

WASHINGTON (7News) — A D.C. man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges of Abduction with the Intent to Defile and Attempted Rape, according to the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Alexandria

The Alexandria Circuit Court delivered the sentence on Jan. 8, 2026. The charges stem from a sexual assault incident that occurred on Feb. 3, 2024, in the Potomac Yard neighborhood of Alexandria.
