Northwestern study seeks married couples ages 60–80

The Life-Span Development Laboratory at Northwestern University is conducting a study to better understand how married couples (ages 60 to 80) experience emotions and communicate with each other. The study involves a single in-person visit to the Evanston campus and lasts approximately three hours. Couples will engage in several conversations about their relationship, complete questionnaires and have noninvasive sensors attached to collect physiological data. Both spouses will be compensated $75 for their three hours of participation, for a total of $150 per couple.

The lab will also provide free parking on Northwestern’s Evanston campus or reimburse public transportation costs. If you are interested in participating, know someone who might be, or have any questions, please contact [email protected] or call (847) 467-7404…
