Idahoans Outraged; Boise Removed From Extremely Popular Ranking

Idaho has been going through a lot of changes in the recent years and a lot of them have been great. Between local businesses still booming and new stores and restaurants moving to Idaho it has been a whole lot of new new new. This time last year Boise was added to the top of the best places to retire list. In fact, Boise was ranked #5 and we thought it had something to do with all the new, new, new.

Well the “new” continues to spread but Boise’s seemingly been getting worse.

This time last year Boise was at the top of every list and everyone wanted to move here. Whether you were young or old there was an appeal to Boise that brought everyone in. Last year Boise was the 5th best city to retire in and now Boise is no where to be seen on this list. So what changed?

There’s so much to do just all within an hour of the city. Whether it’s floating the Boise River in the summer, skiing and snowboarding in Bogus Basin in the winter, hiking Table Rock in the spring, or visiting the pumpkin patch in fall, Boise has activities year round for everyone of every age to enjoy. This hasn’t changed and it’s sad that Boise was just swept under the rug without a second thought…
