(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A Colorado Springs Costco has been confirmed as the first in Southern Colorado discovered to be impacted by a shipment of regular gasoline that was contaminated by diesel fuel.
According to the Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE)’s Division of Oil and Public Safety (OPS), the Costco gas station at 5885 Barnes Road off North Powers Boulevard is the first station south of the Denver metro to be included in an updated list of impacted stations.

Almost 50 stations are on the updated list, with the other 46 stations located in and around the Denver Metro. The OPS said the investigation into the contamination is ongoing, though the state had previously announced that the contaminated fuel was supplied from the HF Sinclair terminal in Henderson.
