BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A pilot from Twin Falls who crash-landed on Orchard St. in Boise back in November has been taken into custody on charges of operating his plane under the influence.
61-year-old Michael Verzwyvelt from Twin Falls crashed landed his airplane on November 8, 2025, just after 6:30 pm, onto the roadway of S. Orchard St. and W. Wright St. Verzwyvelt struck a traffic signal before crashing his plane onto the roadway. He and his passenger were transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries…
