A 14-year-old Greeley student has been charged in connection to alleged threats that were directed at a teacher and principal at Greeley West High School. On Monday, school administrators alerted the Greeley Police Department and there were multiple Safe2Tell reports alleging there was a potential shooting scheduled for Tuesday, January 13. The first report came from a student who overheard the threats made to the teacher and principal.
The 14-year-old student who allegedly made the threats has been charged with interference with an educational institution. The police will not release the name of the child in accordance with juvenile privacy laws, but they have confirmed that the student does not have access to firearms.
