A trial has been set for the man accused of starting the Alexander Mountain Fire in July 2024.
Jason Hobby, now 50, pleaded not guilty to the six charges he is facing: first-degree arson, a Class 3 felony; two counts of impersonating a peace officer, a Class 5 felony; felony menacing with a real or simulated weapon, a Class 5 felony; false imprisonment for 12 hours or more, a Class 5 felony; and impersonating a public servant, a Class 2 misdemeanor.
