TUCSON NOW: Nonprofit hosts events to get people outdoors

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – BEYOND is holding multiple events in January to encourage Tucsonans to take part in healthy activities that will strengthen their health and well-being.

The nonprofit is supported by TMC Health, which says all activities aim to engage people in one or more of their four pillars of health and wellness – move, explore, nourish, connect.

  • Beyond Hike at Gabe Zimmerman Trailhead with Arizona Trail Association – Saturday, Jan. 10, 2-5 pm
  • Run with Saguaros at Saguaro West by Southern Arizona Roadrunners – Sunday, Jan. 11, at 8:30 am
  • Chuck-son Trail with Ironwood Tree Experience – Saturday, Jan. 17, 9-11:30 am
  • Meet Me Mondays at Tumamoc Hill – Monday, Jan. 20, at 4 pm
