Woman sought after pepper-spray attack on 70-year-old man aboard Bronx subway

BRONX, N.Y. – A confrontation aboard a northbound 5 train turned violent Wednesday afternoon when a rider pepper-sprayed a 70-year-old man in the face during an argument, police said. The incident happened around 2:48 p.m. as the train arrived at the East 180th Street subway station.

Investigators said the unidentified woman began arguing with the victim before becoming enraged and discharging pepper spray, striking him in the eyes and face.
