Two men have been sentenced to federal prison terms for their roles in a March 10 robbery of a Montgomery dry cleaning business, said Kevin Davidson, acting United States Attorney.
On Jan 13, a federal judge sentenced Spirit Hooks, 51, of Birmingham, to 14-and-a-half years, he said. On the same date, Spencer Thomas, 68, of Montgomery, received a sentence of 12 years. The “ringleader and organizer of the robbery,” 58-year-old Zedekiah Sykes, was sentenced to 16 years and four months on Oct. 23. Davidson said.
There is no parole in the federal system…
