Ex-Berkeley County dispatch supervisor charged with exposing someone to HIV

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) — A judge has set bond for a former Berkeley County employee who faces multiple counts of exposing someone to HIV, court records state.

Zachary Cyrus, 39, was charged with three counts of exposing another to HIV, according to jail records.

A judge set a surety bond of $50,000 on those counts during a Wednesday bond hearing, according to court records. The judge also ordered Cyrus to remain on house arrest.
