JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — A longtime oceanfront staple at Jacksonville Beach is preparing to close its doors.
Joe’s Crab Shack, a restaurant many locals say holds decades of memories, will soon be converted into a Bubba Gump Shrimp Company location, according to the company’s chief operating officer. The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. currently has five locations in Florida, with the closest being in Daytona Beach and Orlando.
