Income eligible adults can now apply for home modifications through KCHR

KNOXVILLE, Tenn — The Knox County Home Rehabilitation program said homeowners aged 62 years and older may now be eligible for no-cost, customized home improvements.

Improvements include grab bars, accessibility ramps, comfort-height toilets and addressing tripping hazards, according to KCHR. They said the program is designed to strengthen the long-term quality of housing in Knox County.
