KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A water main break has prompted a boil water advisory in Kalamazoo Township.
According to the City of Kalamazoo Department of Public Services, the advisory is in effect on both sides of Cooper Avenue from Dearborn Avenue to Charles Avenue, the southeast corner of Dearborn avenue and Cooper Avenue and the southwest and southeast corners of Kenilworth Avenue and Cooper Avenue.
The southwest corner of Cooper and Dearborn as well as the northwest and northeast corners of Cooper and Charles are not included, the city said.
Everyone in the affected area should boil their water for two minutes before consuming it. It’s safe to bathe in the water without boiling it…
