Building Michigan’s Workforce: Carrie Rosingana connects employers with talent at CAMW

There’s no doubt that 2025 was a tough time for those seeking jobs and those in need of workers — even for Capital Area Michigan Works!, which connects the former to the latter. Yet CAMW wants to be clear: It is still up to the challenge of putting mid-Michiganders to work.

“The unfortunate reality is that the last year has been challenging for employers and job seekers alike,” said Carrie Rosingana, chief executive officer of CAMW. “As a result of federal funding cuts, we also had to close our locations in Clinton and Eaton counties. However, thanks to smart budgeting, we can still provide the services that businesses and employees alike have come to expect to all three of the counties that we serve.”

CAMW is the state-designated workforce development agency for Clinton, Eaton and Ingham counties. The organization helps local employers find, grow and retain talented workers, while connecting potential employees with educational, training and workplace opportunities…
