New Yorkers – don’t put out your trash or recycling on Monday, because it won’t be picked up.
New York City Department of Sanitation won’t be collecting trash or recycling on Jan. 19. It warned that if Monday is your normal trash day, you should plan on setting out your cans on Tuesday instead.
That’s not the only thing suspended. Mail won’t be delivered, and school is out for New York City children. You may want to check with your work to see if you should come in, because many people will be off for Martin Luther King Jr. Day…
