The owners of three gas stations in California have to pay up. They face a settlement of $1.16 million that was reached during an environmental protection lawsuit.
About 52 gallons of fuel were spilled near the North Yuba River. Sherali Gas Corporation runs the stations in Davis, Woodland, and Downieville. It was hit with $1 million in civil penalties.
According to Fox 40, the company allegedly violated environmental laws from 2014 – 2025. About $160,000 in investigation and enforcement costs are also being imposed…
