APPLETON, Wis. — Work is ongoing on the Interstate 41 project in Outagamie and Brown counties this winter.
It’s a bit of rest before the next big push of construction on the multi-year project between De Pere and Appleton.
“It really depends on weather,” said Bryan Learst, the I-41 construction project manager with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. “We like to say early March is typical, but if we get a good February of if this thaw continues and we have decent temperatures and the ground starts to thaw, we could get started earlier.”…
