DENVER (KDVR) — There was a record amount of fentanyl pills and methamphetamine found in Colorado last year, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration Rocky Mountain Division.
DEA Rocky Mountain said there were record seizures in 2025, which covers areas across Colorado, Utah, Montana and Wyoming. Approximately 8,729,000 fentanyl pills were seized in the division, which includes a record amount of 6.7 million fentanyl pills and 2,202 Ibs. of methamphetamine in Colorado.

To put that into perspective, more than one in every ten pills seized in the United States was in Colorado, the DEA said.
