ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A judge on Thursday will sentence two suspects who pleaded guilty to charges for a 2022 murder-for-hire plot in northeast Albuquerque.
Martin Trujillo pleaded guilty in August to first-degree murder charges for hiring Cassandra Dominguez and Freddy Granger to kill Gary Escareno. Investigators found Trujillo worked with Escareno on a rental assistance scheme until they had a falling out.
