PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A homicide investigation is underway after police found a woman dead on a street in Phoenix’s Maryvale neighborhood early Thursday morning.
Officers first responded to 67th Avenue and Highland Avenue, just south of Camelback Road, around 1:45 a.m. reports of an injured person on the side of the road. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive woman with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are speaking with nearby homeowners to see if anyone has information or video that could help find out what happened…
