TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Gai Chicken & Rice had its grand opening and ribbon cutting on Thursday. The restaurant is located at 3301 6th Avenue in Troy.

Patrick Chiou, one of the managing members of Gai Chicken, said this a passion project for him as he’s in the real estate business. Gai Chicken has two locations in New York City and a spot in New Jersey.
“We wanted to bring something new to the area,” said Chiou. “I can’t wait for everybody to really enjoy what we have to offer.”

The Gai Chicken menu includes roasted chicken, fried chicken, chicken tender and sticky wing platters, as well as chicken bowls and chicken with fries. You can view the menu on the Gai Chicken website.
The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 8:30 p.m…
