Birmingham neighbors concerned about homeless encampment on Hemlock Avenue

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – Neighbors are raising questions about an encampment in a Birmingham neighborhood. One of the people staying on the property on Hemlock Avenue Southwest is a man WBRC talked to in Walker County the day deputies there told his group to move after also finding a gun and marijuana.

Some neighbors said they are concerned about this new encampment.

“We just want them gone out of our neighborhood. It’s unsafe,” said a neighbor who wanted to stay anonymous…
