Boca Raton police have charged a Pompano Beach woman in the shocking assault of a victim on Spanish River Boulevard after she allegedly rear-ended her vehicle while driving recklessly on the highway.
Alexis Chante Martin, 36, is facing charges of battery, damage to property and robbery after the Jan. 10, 2026 incident that was sparked by the accident, which occurred near the intersection of Spanish River Boulevard and Airport Road. Police first became involved after receiving a report of a physical altercation between a two people described as a black woman and a white woman, but initially found no one in the area that was reported.
