Mom gets probation for calling in bomb threat to Lake Shore High School, after daughter wasn’t allowed to be in school play

(WWJ) A woman who pleaded guilty to making a false bomb threat at the St. Clair Shores high school where her daughter attends has been sentenced to probation.

According to the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office, 42-year-old Crystal Royster of Detroit made two false reports of a bomb at Lake Shore High School on March 12 of last year.

Investigators said Royster was upset that her daughter wasn’t allowed to participate in a school play, due to a school policy that bars students from taking part in after school activities if they are out sick or leave school early…
