So many people, myself included, become so invested in watching these documentaries, seeing how the crime starts, and trying to piece the parts together to help solve the crime as you’re watching it. That’s probably why the television show CSI has been around for so long and has so many spin-offs. Well, if the world of CSI and true crime is something that you enjoy, there’s an event coming up here in Evansville that you might want to take part in.

CSI: Evansville, Past and Present
CSI: Evansville, Past and Present is an event hosted by the Evansville Police Foundation, where Evansville Police Department Detectives and the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office will guide attendees through the details of a high-profile local case. Inspired by the popular CSI television series, this event offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at how complex cases are investigated from start to finish. This is the fourth of a series of CSI: Evansville, Past and Present case programs being presented annually.
This event will be held at Old National Bank at 1 Main Street in Downtown Evansville on Thursday, April 9th. The pre-event kicks off at 5:30 p.m., and the program itself is from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Proceeds generated by this event provide additional resources for the Evansville Police Department to enhance public safety and law enforcement in our community…
