Osceola churches come together to hold warming centers during cold snap

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Forecasts predict drops in temperatures between 30 and 40 degrees across Central Florida this Thursday through Saturday, and specifically in Osceola County, a handful of churches are partnering with county officials to host warming centers.

Currently, there are no permanent shelters for people experiencing homelessness in the county. The only shelter is a domestic violence shelter: Help Now.
