Pigeon Forge PD fires officer after investigating communications he had with underage girl he met on duty

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — The Pigeon Forge Police Department fired one of its patrol officers after investigating him when it learned he had been in communication with an underage girl that he met while on duty, according to a release from the department.

PFPD said David Stinnett was initially placed on paid leave after the 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office was notified of the incident. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agents were called to investigate.
