Skimming device placed on Lancaster County credit union ATM

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A skimming device was placed on an ATM at a Lancaster County credit union in December, according to police.

Estiebel Matta, 27, was charged on Thursday following an investigation by East Hempfield Township police into a skimming device placed on an ATM at the Belco Credit Union, located at 201 Good Drive in Lancaster, on Dec. 27, according to the charges filed.

Photos that police say were given to them helped them identify Matta, of Lancaster, as the person who allegedly placed the skimming device on the ATM, according to the criminal complaint. The investigating officer was able to identify Matta because they previously arrested him a few days before…
