One person arrested following drug bust in Tennessee

TENNESSEE — A Hampton man is facing multiple drug and firearm charges following a narcotics investigation conducted by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.

According to a news release, investigators used the Flock Camera network to locate a vehicle connected to the investigation. On Tuesday, investigators obtained search warrants for the vehicle and residence of William Jacob Miller, 42.

Authorities said Miller was found inside his vehicle, which was parked in a local parking lot. During the search of the vehicle, investigators reported finding multiple suspected controlled substances, including fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with digital scales, ammunition, and two loaded firearms. One of the firearms, a Model DM-22 Derringer pistol, was reportedly found in Miller’s jacket pocket, while a loaded Glock 22 .40-caliber pistol was located between the driver’s seat and center console…
