CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Conway man has been charged with attempted murder after he tried to run a person over with his truck and pointed a machete at them, according to the Conway Police Department.
Police said Michael Funches, 68, can be seen on surveillance video driving into a parking lot on the 1000 block of Grainger Road where the victim appears to hold up their middle finger at him.
Funches then sped up going into the parking lot and tried to hit the victim, a report says. The victim was able to jump out of the way. He then approached the passenger side of the truck that Funches was driving and punched the window…
