NNPD: 17-year-old seriously injured after 31st Street shooting

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured following a shooting Wednesday night on 31st Street, according to the Newport News Police Department.

Officers responded to the 800 block of 31st Street at around 10:30 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found a 17-year-old boy who suffered from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries…
