PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Drivers on Garden Street in Pensacola can expect a change as a new temporary traffic configuration takes place, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

According to an FDOT news release, starting Sunday, Jan. 18, Garden Street, also known as Business U.S. 98, will see a lane shift between Pace Boulevard and North Donelson Street.
“Garden Street travel lanes will be shifted to the south to provide a dedicated work zone on the north side of the street,” the release said.
The temporary change will allow space for the construction of drainage infrastructure, utility and sanitary sewer upgrades, travel lanes, sidewalks, and on-street parking…
