Plum man struck, killed by vehicle in Lower Burrell

Police and emergency crews shut down a portion of Greensburg Road in Lower Burrell after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle there.

Lower Burrell Police Detective Steve Aulerich said the victim was a 62-year-old man from Plum. His name was not released.

The incident was reported about 1 p.m. Wednesday near the city’s Kinloch neighborhood. Traffic was being stopped and rerouted just before the Glassmere Fuel station on the Parnassus Triangle side of the crash and through Kinloch from the eastern side of the scene as police investigated…
