PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Port St. Lucie man was arrested earlier this month after law enforcement officials say he sent emails that were interpreted as threats, prompting an investigation involving local police and the FBI.
According to a Port St. Lucie Police Department arrest affidavit, officers arrested Aria Asghari, 39, on January 9 at a residence on Southwest Indigo Inlet Lane. Asghari was charged with intimidation by written threat to kill or injure, a felony under Florida law.
