Sarasota County earned accolades for two projects from the Sarasota Alliance for Historic Preservation, as part of the alliance’s 2026 Heritage Awards.
Sarasota County received awards for its restoration of the Phillippi Estate, also known as the Edson Keith Farmhouse and the Sarasota County Terrace Building, which was built by Charles Ringling in 1925 as the Sarasota Terrace Hotel.
