Savannah bank robbery suspect indicted for home invasion

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The man arrested in connection to a Savannah bank robbery in October 2025 was formally indicted for an alleged home invasion Wednesday.

Eric Williams, 37, was already in custody in connection to the robbery of the Bank of America on E. Victory Drive when he was charged in a home invasion that occurred earlier in the day.

A Chatham County jury indicted Williams on the following charges: home invasion, two counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of false imprisonment, theft by taking firearm, theft by taking auto and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon…
