WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office made another arrest in an apparent deadly overdose.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies responded at 1:28 a.m. on Sunday to an unresponsive person at 5135 Carolina Beach Road. Kenneth Hudgins was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent overdose.
Through the investigation it was determined that Leah Dawn Blankenship and Joshua Alberto Flores were allegedly involved in the delivery on Saturday of fentanyl to Hudgins which was believed to lead to his death…
